Having gathered much experience over
time, with activities such as the Milan
Junior Camp (which hit a world record high
in 2009 with over 178 locations world wide),
Milan Academy, the Milan Youth Program
(Milan Junior program) has been present in many
locations throughout the world.
A.C. Milan is one of the world’s most successful
football clubs and surely the most successful
professional club in the last 22 years. In the last 6 years
alone it has won its 7th Champions League Cup, 17th
Italian League, 5th Italian Cup, 5th Italian Super Cup,
5th European Super Cup, 3rd Intercontinental Cup
and 1st FIF A Club World Cup; but all that success is
supported by a very simple fact: love for the game of
football which can be played wherever there is a ball
and the will to play.
A.C. Milan has created a variety of entertaining and
technically challenging programs. The One Day Camp
program for example, was created in order to provide
opportunity to thousands of children whose families are
under economic distress or that simply cannot afford
a week long camp, but that do not want to pass out
on the opportunity to provide their children a unique
camp experience. The One Day Camp features the high
quality training and commitment of the Milan Junior
Camp, compressed in one very satisfying session that
combines fun, football and excellent coaching.
A One Day Camp serves two purposes primarily:
Providing accessible means of high quality football
training to children, as well as a talent scouting
platform, through which the A.C. Milan trainers can
observe skilled players in many locations throughout
United States; in each camp, a child is selected and
invited to Milan, should the skill level be met. The
Talents are then gathered at the A.C. Milan Talent Clinic
held in Milan every year during the month of June.
Additionally, the One Day Camp program benefits not
only young talented players, but also contributes to the
formation and support of local trainers. After or before
each Day Camp, local trainers attend a special coaching
clinic with the A.C. Milan trainers.
