Layth Masri: Soccer definitely benefits me off the field. Being part of a team in any sport is a very beneficial. It teaches you leadership, teamwork, sacrifice for others, hard work and gives you many opportunities to be courageous. Soccer has given me the opportunity to meet many new people and some of them have become good friends.

Layth Masri: My source of inspiration has come from my parents and coaches. They are always supportive and push me to improve in soccer and all other aspects of my life.
Soccer Magazine: Tell us about your most memorable soccer moment.
Layth Masri: My most memorable soccer moment would have to be in the summer of 2009 when my Javanon team won the Region II Championship for the second year in a row. We won the game in a penalty shootout, which might be the most exciting way to win in all of sports. Celebrating with the team after our goalie made the save to win it was a very exciting and relieving feeling.

Layth Masri: Sports are my hobbies and interests. Along with soccer, I played basketball, baseball, and ran track for my high school. I just love playing and watching sports so that's what I do. When I'm not playing sports, I do like to go out with friends and hang out with family.
